UV finished plywood is a type of epoxy coating applied to the surface of plywood products to enhance their durability against scratches, moisture, and environmental dust. It is particularly suitable for cabinets, closets, and furniture. However, not all plywood is suitable for UV standards. If you have experience with the UV process, you would understand the specific quality requirements that differentiate UV-finished plywood from other types of commercial standard products.

The quality requirement for UV standard plywood is primarily determined by its ability to maintain uniform thickness and flatness. In other words, plywood intended for UV processes needs to exhibit consistency in thickness, with the tolerance falling within a specific range. Additionally, the measurement of thickness for all edges of the panel should not exceed a ±0.3mm difference. This stringent standard ensures that the plywood is suitable for UV processes, as it allows for precise and uniform application of UV coatings and finishes.
